EFT, or Tapping as it is often called, is a method I use to help you reduce stress, process trauma, and create long-lasting positive changes in thoughts and behaviors.
I use EFT as a psychological acupuncture without needles, where we use light taps on specific points on the body and conversations to process emotions and bodily experiences. EFT is similar to mindfulness in its focus on relaxation, presence and acceptance, and the method is supported by modern neuropsychological research.
EFT was developed in the 1980s by the American Gary Craig and is based on a simplified version of TFT (Thought Field Therapy). I work mainly with Gary Craig's original method, Classical EFT or Clinical EFT.
